Santa Barbara Auto Group Parallels Mercedes-Benz’s High Customer Satisfaction Rates

Santa Barbara Auto Group is proud to announce that Mercedes-Benz has achieved the highest customer satisfaction rates of any automaker according to the 2013 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) survey.  The survey randomly selected over 4,000 American consumers to interview via email or phone queries to determine the rankings.

Mercedes-Benz ranked the highest in the survey with a result of 88 out of 100.  Other leading brands included Lexus, Honda, Toyota, and Subaru who scored between 86 and 87.   Overall, the survey reported that European brands had the highest satisfaction scores, earning an average of 84.7, compared to Japanese automakers which ranked in second place with an average score of 84.1, followed by American automakers coming in at 82.

According to the director of ACSI, automakers are focusing on customer satisfaction to fuel future growth.  For example, American automakers are finally seeing a rebound in sales, but need to sustain that growth through high customer satisfaction results.  Otherwise, automakers will be never see their cars sell because buyers are just not satisfied with the product or the ownership experience.
