Holiday auto tips

Changing weather and shortened days are signs that the holiday season is right around the corner. With that in mind, here are a few things to remember from us at the Auto Group:

  • Early December is recognized by most automotive publications as the best time of the year to buy a new car. 2012 Model Year vehicles are at their lowest prices of the year and 2013 Model Years are offered at great introductory offers. As we make room for our new stock of inventory, prices on some models will continue to drop until the end of the year. If you’re in the market for a new car, now is the time to act!
  • Our service centers always suggest an inspection before making any long-distance drives. If you’re planning on making a trip for the holidays, schedule an appointment for a brief inspection before you leave to ensure the safest and easiest transportation for you and your family. With that in mind, November and December present some of the busiest times in our shop so if you’d like to schedule a service, please plan ahead.
  • Make sure you are prepared for driving in inclement weather. Battery, brakes, tires, wiper blades, exterior lights and horn should all be in their best working condition for rainy weather. Further, make sure that if you have a cell phone interface that it is working properly in the case of an emergency. If not, give us a call and we can help you set it up.
  • The dealership will be closed November 22, December 25 and January 1 in observance of holidays. We will also be closing in the early afternoon on December 24. If you would like to service your car speak with a sales person, please keep these dates in mind.

We wish you a safe and happy holiday season from all of us at Santa Barbara Auto Group.
