Acura Rolls Out New Look in the 2019 Acura RDX Compact Crossover
The 2019 Acura RDX introduces its latest features at the North American International Auto Show
Introduced globally at the 2018 North American International Auto Show, the 2019 Acura RDX brings excitement to the streets with its new diamond pentagon grill and sharply creased surfaces of the precision design language. Sure to create double-take views along the roads of Santa Barbara, the RDX adds an athletic appeal with its wider stance and longer wheelbase. The track is 1.2 inches wider and wheelbase is 2.5 inches longer than that of its predecessors and shares the basic structural design as the CR-V, but with some upgrades. The upgrades entail an available adaptive damping system tied into the Integrated Dynamics System. This system is offered in four modes: Sport, Sport+, Comfort and Snow. Each can be selected through a dial on the center console. At the time when Acura launches this versatile crossover, it will also be offered in a sportier A-Spec model, which compares to the TLX. The amazing styles of the latest Acura crossover in the 2019 RDX are sure to catch the eyes of Acura aficionados everywhere. Primed for road, the RDX is offered in a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine in combination with a 10-speed automatic and includes a 280 horsepower that delivers 275 lb-ft of torque. This aggressive wonder will hit the showrooms later this year. Stop in at Acura Santa Barbara and ask about the amazing concepts loaded in the 2019 Acura RDX
Interior technology adds to the appeal in the 2019 Acura RDX
The 2019 Acura RDX offers a new True Touchpad interface first debuted last year. There are two main components of the True Touchpad system, a high-resolution, 10.2-inch color screen positioned on top of the dashboard, right in the driver’s line of sight; and a touch pad compared to one on a laptop. The touch pad is located on the center console between the buttons. This concept replaces a dual center display configuration from the past decade. This newest designed display is offered on a 10.2-inch wide screen and is mounted closer to the driver’s line of sight. The user touches the upper right corner of the pad where an indicator will appear on the screen. Acura boasts that every point on the pad will correspond directly to the display so the user (driver or passenger) will not have to look down when manipulating it.
